| This painting has been painted as an "Ode" to, two wonderful parrots called Polly and Roy.As babies they were reared and lived in wonderful animal family conscious homes years apart. Well taken care of and loved by separate families. Roy(Congo African grey) would have been 10 years in 2005 if he had not mysteriously passed away ,like Polly,(a young Timneh grey parrot)who also passed away in her cage at a young age. This painting is an ode to those parrots who where so loved and taken care of ,that had short lives destined to them by someone almighty,reasons we will never know..... where do they go?,To all parrot lovers who have lost a loved one,this goes out to you...may we all find peace.... the yellow flowers resemble some kind of peace that we are left with ,and the crosses a sign of a place of rest to our beloved pets. ..this goes out to all the animal keepers who have lost a beloved pet... |
