| ...Abstract African Art,(African Horn bill and Elephant painting). The painting is named "The call of the Wild"! A surrealistic painting depicting 3 elephants that walk over the top of the painting behind a setting African sun. All three elephants seem to be marching from left to right as though they are marching off the painting symbolising the absence of them in the wild as the sun setting depicts that time is close to them from being extinct if man does not help with the conservation of these majestic animals. The shapes inside the bodies of the silo-etted elephants resemble the living genes inside these animals that should be past on for many years to come will also be lost.In the foreground also three abstract African Horn bills scream out for the preservation and conservation of these animals that roam the African plains with them."Conservation is the Mother of all unborn". In the far background images of birds can be seen and trees on the horizon, directly under the elephants their are shadows that loom possible poaching and death.. |
